Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a great week so far.
I wanted to share that I’m scheduled for shoulder surgery on May 27th (I don’t have the exact time yet). I’ll be down for about 6 weeks afterward. For the first 4 weeks, my arm will be in a special sling that keeps it elevated, and I won’t be able to move my shoulder at all. Because of that, it’s going to be really difficult to get into my usual 3XL shirts, so I’ve put together an Amazon wishlist with some 4XL and 5XL t-shirts and tank tops that will be easier to manage during recovery.
If anyone would like to send encouraging notes or get-well cards, I would truly appreciate having something uplifting to read while I’m laid up. This is going to be a tough adjustment for me since I’m usually the one taking care of everything, and now I’ll need to rely on my two sons to help not only me but also their grandma.
