As some of you know I was diagnosed with lung cancer last month just before Christmas! I have been having a lot of testing done since then and a lot of my appointments are a 100 mile round trip every other week or so! Currently I have a biopsy scheduled on the 29th of Jan and I meet with the oncology team on the 30th of Jan both appointments are super early and driving in the dark on what can be nasty roads in Michigan is something we try to avoid unfortunately these are only times available! It would be great if we could just stay in hotel near the hospital so we were there already and don't have to travel 2 days in a row! Unfortunately our budget doesn't allow for this with all the bills and my husband's loss of wages due to taking time off to accompany me to all my appointments! If anyone is able to help with this I would greatly appreciate it! The medical facilities are in Traverse City MI!
