Hello everyone! My youngest son, Joey, will turn 21 on February 26th. He still lives at home, as he is mentally disabled. We know for sure he suffers from extreme anxiety and a sensory processing disorder, but after doing some further research, we suspect he may be autistic. He acts more like a 12-13 year old than a 20-21 year old. I have made a registry at Amazon for him with some ideas of things he said he would like to have. Some things are a little expensive, like gift cards, but I think it's due to having to choose physical gift cards to have shipped (You can't add digital gift cards to a registry, however, I would be more than willing to send my email so you can have a digital gift card sent and I can print it out for him). He is also very easy to please. He would be happy with anything, even if its not on the registry. Please don't feel like the expensive items are required. My wish is for Joey to recieve LOTS of birthday cards with some surprises ($1 +, gift cards, whatever you cant think of!) and birthday gifts from his wishlist. I would also like for him to get a couple cake mixes, icing, and candy decorations so we can make him cake. He has also said he'd like to have pizza for his birthday, so a gift card for Papa Johns, Little Caesars, Dominos, etc would be nice to help in that aspect of the surprise. I'd like to put some decorations up in the night before, after he goes to bed, as part of the surprise. He tends to feel like he is left out since he is the oldest child at home, and I don't like that. I want his day to be extra special! If you can help in any way, please let me know! Thank you!
